I have played Portal 2 yesterday for nearly an hour without crash. That was on
wine compiled from git (version 1.3.27). Before this version game crashed
everytime after about 15 minutes (also with patch from thehoome).

Thank you Grazvydas Ignotas for this improved patch. I think that this bug can
be closed now.
