I don't believe Wineskin to be the problem; it's just a wrapper for WINE, no
different than installing WINE to a custom location yourself and launching it
appropriately. I've tried a standard WINE install (via Macports), but I have
exact same problem.

At a cursory glance the spindump looks no different, except that obviously the
path to WINE is different.
