I'm not sure what version that log is from, but it's not 1.3.34.
WineD3D_ChoosePixelFormat() is gone since 1.3.27. The AOE1 demo seems to work
fine for me with the OpenGL renderer. Are you running this in a clean prefix?
This may also be specific to OS X.
