I tried the F1 CS 2000 demo. It crashes on launch with Wine-1.3.35 and with
earlier versions too.
The good news is that the game starts correctly with the latest git version
(wine-1.3.35-168-g5b93bb9) and this is thanks to this commit:
http://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git/commit/3e6313050bff97a720026735ca2f267575edeb26

Please try the other game as well with wine-1.3.35-168-g5b93bb9 (or newer) and
confirm the fixed state.

p.s.: hardware renderer may cause problems when starting a new game from the
menu, but that's another story.
