No, I never said it's useless.

There's a possibility that games installs native msxml3 itself, we do a forward
msxml4->msxml3 and in this case version 4 classes won't be found obviously.
Could you verify if a game supplies msxml3/msxml4 on its own?

Also it's interesting to take a look at +loaddll log to see what module was
picked up (attach it please).
