System -
   Intel     - Core 2 Duo    1 GB Ram
   Linux     - Ubuntu - Lucid Lynx - 10.04
   Wine      - 1.3.11
   iTunes    - 10.1.1
   QuickTime - 7.6.9

I have this exact same problem.
After successfully running "wine iTunesSetup1011.exe"
when I attempt to execute the iTunes.exe program,
   using the following command:
".wine/drive_c/Program Files/iTunes/iTunes.exe"
I get the message:    error 7 (Windows error 998)

I would be glad to work with someone for as much time as needed
in order to get iTunes to work correctly with Wine.

I'm a Computer Literate person and could do any testing that
you wish done in order to solve this problem.
