This is true, but the way you present these facts leads many to believe that
you are trolling. Most linux distros these days use PA, and with ubuntu,
uninstalling it is not really an option anymore. With this in mind, if wine has
incompatibilities with PA, it is in the best interest of wine use the fix that
already exists via the winepulse patch for the time being; as regardless of
whether or not pulse provides kernel audio drivers as opposed to alsa, the bug
still exists and is still a problem.
