I can confirm this bug.
The game crashes as the global map is opened.

I have the following specs:

- OpenSuse 11.0
- ATI Radeon X850 (Catalyst 9.3 driver, no newer one available for this card)
- Latest version of Steam
- Latest german version of Dawn of War on Steam
- Clear installation of Wine 1.3.11
- Corefonts installed via winetricks to get Steam to work
