I tried it again with Wine git, and recompiled OpenSSL in case that was it but
the same output is generated.

Although it seems to work in a 32-bit environment (practically the same setup
as the 64-bit I was using). May it be distribution related? What distribution
are you using Austin? Could anyone else having a 64-bit Arch report?
