When you run the Warcraft 3 Demo installer, at the end it asks whether to place
shortcut to the desktop. I choose NO and the installer crashes.

1. I did a regression test between 1.3.24 and 1.3.24-174-g4b4dd30:

2. There is another bug report suffering from this commit, see bug 27795.

3. Revert of this patch after git checkout makes that problem go away.
