The originally reported problems were actually different issues. However, both
of them have been fixed in a recent Wine:

1) 'the miscolored zombies' issue got fixed in 1.3.24
2) those dark, diagonal lines across the screen have disappeared in 1.3.25
(although a new problem arose, see bug #27879).

Tested with the following game versions: 1.1.2, 1.1.4, 1.2.2, 1.2.6.

Nvidia GeForce 250 / driver 275.21

Marking it as FIXED.
