Joerg,

The Bat! 5.xx had a regression (vs. The Bat 4.xx) with blacked out check boxes
through the menus. This was fixed in about (??) 1.3.19 (I think).

Far as I am concerned this bug is out of date. I use The Bat! 5.xx as my
primary email client and it's working fine...
