I did have a look at this a while back. IIRC, the disc is in UDF format and the
game calls GetVolumeInformation, which is not implemented for UDF filesystems.
The issue is, among the data returned by GetVolumeInformation there is a serial
number which is not stored in the original disc; the serial is instead
generated from the volume data by GetVolumeInformation itself by means of an
undisclosed algorithm...
