This bug exists in Ubuntu 10.10 with Wine 1.3.3, Steam as of 13.3.2011.
Processor: AMD64 Athon x 2 3800+
GPU: Nvidia Geforce 8600GT
RAM: 2GB

Major lag (fps is around 1) and results in complete system slowdown. Exists in
at least most of the tabs and features (would take ages to browse through all
of them with 1 fps). When the Steam-window is minimized, performance is again
normal.
