After attempting every combination of map type/size, I found that that crash
(during "setup map") is always reproducible, except for the case mentioned in
my last comment where an earlier crash is caused.
The log information is pretty much the same as in my last post.
Are there any other debug symbols that might be interesting to use in this
case?

What settings did you use that did not cause the crash?
