It's been over a year. Is this still an issue?
I can't reproduce it with 1.3.32 (although I never tried the affected versions,
so I'm not sure I ever was affected), but the sound system in wine has improved
a lot since last year. I don't have the same sound card as the original bug
report describes, but it's a very similar one:

Intel Corporation 82801H (ICH8 Family) HD Audio Controller (rev 03)

Can anyone still reproduce this?
