Stage Studio v08.03 Beta shows the window contents correctly in Wine-1.3.20,
.22, ..., .31, .32.
I can reproduce the reported black screen issue in 1.3.17 and all versions
prior to that.

X.Org X Server 1.11.2
Nvidia gfx card / driver 290.06
