[Bug 28066] Sound stops after some time (restarting sound in game usually possible)

I can CONFIRM this as well.

Running Oblivion (patched with official patches up to 1.2).
Wine 1.3.28
NVidia card (GeForce something or other... 512MB of VRAM)
An obscene amount of system RAM and a current AMD processor.

I looked in the output while running, I don't see any obvious culprits. The
sound worked fine during the intro (prison run), though when I stepped away
from the computer and game back, the sound cut out when I began the "sewers"
portion.

Out in the full world, when I first load the game, whether i'm in town or
outdoors, the sound works for about 2-5 minutes then cuts out. Dialog seems to
be a frequent trigger, though not the only one. Disabling bgMusic in
Oblivion.ini has *helped* but not *solved* the problem.

Performance seems to be inconsistent. Worked fine when I played it on my laptop
(512MB NVidia video card, Core 2 Duo Intel proc) last year.

Game plays fine, aside from the sound.
