d67275fed84e74072d202fc98c205f40c6d18b63 is in, but it needs much more work to
get sparc64/powerpc64 to work. i doubt that we want that. Debian/sparc64 has a
32-bit userland anyway and you need -m64 to tell gcc you don't want to compile
for 32-bit. i'm not sure about powerpc64, but as you ran accidently into that
bug i guess it has a 64-bit userland.
