I had a similar issue in 1.28, except that I was getting the music from the
introduction video, but after a mouse-click I didn't get the music for the main
menu, I think there may have been an error dialogue but it was difficult to get
to it.  This was with my old install that had a corrupt Audio.dll file, so I
need to try it again with an uncorrupted install.  I could try 1.29 at some
point as this has a platinum status.

I did try it in a virtual desktop, same issue.

Also, I should've mentioned I'm using an NVidia graphics card with the official
software (v280.13) and I'm running Ubuntu Oneiric.
