Is there still someone working on this?

Is it really known that checksums over files are generated? IMHO this would be
a pretty bad idea. As soon as Microsoft offers a security patch that touches
such files, you would be banned everywhere.

Is the "unknown API function" known? Is it possible to just use a native DLL
there?
