Alas not.

I upgraded Wine to :
Package: wine1.3
Version: 1.3.28-0ubuntu1

...it didn't help.

Then I tried your suggestion but got a bad checksum for shockwave flash :
------------------------------------------------------
sha1sum mismatch!  Rename
~/.cache/winetricks/shockwave/sw_lic_full_installer.msi and try again.
------------------------------------------------------

Then I installed Flash manually and successfully using :
$ wine msiexec /i ~/.cache/winetricks/shockwave/sw_lic_full_installer.msi
...which worked.


But still getting the same errors when trying to run the "Cartes de Visite"
draw4481.exe program. :-(
