I also am having serious issues. More than just no text (the "fix" does not
work anymore for me).

I just updated whole computer (KDE/ArchLinux) and had to use the DLL fix to be
able to update Steam. Once it was updated, it closed itself/crashed and upon
reopening, no text. DLL fix no longer worked, AND SkyrimLauncher.exe crashes
every time.

d'oh....
