Please test in the latest development release before reporting bugs.
In 1.5.18, the msvcr error is gone, instead failing at:
fixme:winsock:convert_socktype_w2u unhandled Windows socket type 0
fixme:advapi:ReportEventW
(0xcafe4242,0x0001,0x0000,0x00000002,(nil),0x0002,0x00000000,0x97d0f0,(nil)):
stub
err:eventlog:ReportEventW L"\n\n"
err:eventlog:ReportEventW L"Caught class Polar::Net::Exception...\n...Caused by
class Polar::System::Exception. 10041: ...\n...Server shutting down."
fixme:advapi:DeregisterEventSource (0xcafe4242) stub
err:msi:ITERATE_Actions Execution halted, action L"StartServices" returned 1627
err:rpc:I_RpcGetBuffer no binding
err:rpc:I_RpcGetBuffer no binding
err:msi:custom_get_thread_return Invalid Return Code 2
err:msi:ITERATE_Actions Execution halted, action L"ISInstallPrerequisites"
returned 1603
winetricks dotnet20 beforehand didn't help. I tried getting a +relay,+msi log,
but that hides the original error. I've attached a +msi,+tid trace instead.
