A timezone name crash happens when trying to install BlueStacks App Player

I tried installing BlueStacks v 0.7.8.829 with Wine 1.5.19 on Ubuntu 12.04
x86_64.

After launching the main setup files I noticed there's some sort of file
extraction happening.
I went into the Temp folder and noticed that there are files extracted there
but these are deleted once the installer crashes.
So, what I did was to break the installer before it crashes so it won't delete
the files.
I managed to get the files by doing this.
When I tried running the exe file I managed to extract I got the error message
in the attached log.
Seems like it's a ThinInstaller and it can't get the timezone name and this is
why it doesn't work, there are several more lines but this is the first one
(There's also something about missing files after that one).

I can run more tests if needed.
