Terminal output showing lock still there even in libxcb 1.9

the patch was sent up stream but It still didnt fix the issue in all
applications. the threads still lock in "The Ship"

This is the message I get in a popup box.
SteamStartup() failed: SteamStartup(0xf, 0x0033D8B8) failed with error 1:
failed to take master pipe connection lock
