Could you get a 1.4-rc2 trace with the channels from
<http://wiki.winehq.org/Sound> in a new WINEPREFIX?

Also, what operating system are you using? What versions of PulseAudio and
alsa-plugins (called "libasound2-plugins" in Ubuntu)?
