I don't think it is a regression. Native d3dxof does not  work either. I also
added some tests (
http://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git/?a=commit;h=ddecb6aae5d61fad0b95a76fe3e4ae178b4af8d8
) to show we are compliant with native.
I seems something wrong happened and we are passed a wrong pointer. The old
implementation was returning a error preventing the game to access the buffer.
