Turning off the NumLock is really a workaround for the problem.
I've tested it here on wine-1.3.36 and it works.
However there are other minor input problems on the Game that should be solved,
because it can affect other applications.
For example, I can't rotate objects on the loading screen and I can't open the
in-game terminal by pressing " ' " key.
