Yes, we have found that renaming the screens makes no difference.  We also
haven't gotten joy with the test server, although it's been hard to test.

It seems to us that if the servers are down, then you get through to the blank
server screen, otherwise you don't.  I wonder if renaming the images just
happened to coincide with some server down time for you, Xolotl Loki.

This is proving to be a hard one; it's hard to figure out why an app *doesn't*
do something; it's much easier when it does something and something bad
happens.  We just need that one glimmer of insight...
