According to Oleg Matveev on the appdb comments page, game crashes while trying
to create user profile (savegames folder and config file, located in
Steam/userdata/*/41070/local/) with wine client error:50: write: Invalid file
descriptor.

Initially this folder is empty, so I've tried to copy an existing profile there
— now the game crashes as soon as it finds out that there are savegames present
(on the "load existing or start new game" menu). Unfortunately, -all,+file 52MB
trace contains no errors at all and it seems that the game accessed all these
savegames and config file just fine.
