Confirming, FIXED in wine-1.5.7-348-gc5cd3d4. Particular commit:
http://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git/commit/c5cd3d4d765bcc02c88bef6d87e6348154845a84

Now the game starts and is fully playable alldlls=builtin. Tested under
wine-1.5.8-160-g8613d5e.
