Still happening.  The first problem is clearly msxml3 related, as Austin
saw.

After installing ie7, it crashes shortly after

err:ole:create_server class {25336920-03f9-11cf-8fd0-00aa00686f13} not
registered

According to
http://mikolajapp.appspot.com/uuid/query?q=%7B25336920-03f9-11cf-8fd0-00aa00686f13%7D
this is for mshtml.dll. 

I wonder if the registration problem is related to bug 25340.
