The ptrace_scope setting was merely a permissions problem on your machine
(which you corrected), and is not related to the issue described in this
ticket.

As for your mouse cursor problem, that's not something I have experienced, but
a google search for the keywords 'diablo3 cursor disappears' returns many
results, including reports from Windows and Mac users.
