Just as a suggestion, you can use the MobyGames database to find who company
has developed most of the games, it can helps you a lot to do that job, because
they have a really huge database, with all the names of both developers and
publishers and with links to their official websites. And of course using that
site and google will make the job more painless.

It doesn't have nothing to do with this, but i think it's also related, a lot
of people when add a new game, they put the genres of those games wrong too.
Like for example if it's a Point & Click Adventure game with a first person
perspective, they've add that game as a First Person Shooter, and of course,
are both different things. It also happens with a all the others genres. So if
someone makes a search on the WineDB looking for a Strategy game, they will
find a lot of games that doesn't fit with the search results, and maybe the
strategy game that their are looking for, isn't appears in the search results
because it has been added on other genres. Is very confusing.
