vlc seem to be an application which allow use to select mmdevapi, dsound and
waveout in the output module

How many device should be listed in

mmdevapi_test mmdevenum 

why the registry still keep entry of removed sound card ?

why those entries are still loaded every time when the sound card has been
physically removed ?
