What about DirectX? Try download standalone files through winetricks, you can
look at my settings of D3D in win. register in appdb test results - blue-ray
disc version of Saboteur (little mistake from me, I have DVD version) .

I have GT440, that's similar card as yours I think, and if I set all efects to
low, the game is playable, but I have problem with keyboard - it seems it´s
pushed the key "down arrow" all the time, mice seems to be ok.
Sound is crappy or no sound, but I think it´s pulseaudio issue - sound is
faster and distorted from ver. 1.4 of wine in all games I have....I´m waiting
for wine 1.5 but if the sound issue will be still the same, I will try wine
1.3.28.
