Tested under wine-1.5.3-164-gdec3d50 and Diablo 1 does not crash for me under
clean wine prefix. Although after initial screen i do not see menu screen
(whole black), but few times Enter key ;) and i'm playing...

I did not read the whole report here (as i came from duplicate bug 17928), but
maybe this bug is ready to close ;)
