I am running Ubuntu 12.04 64 bit (Linux alnix 3.2.0-24-generic #39-Ubuntu SMP
Mon May 21 16:52:17 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux) with wine version
(alan at alnix:~$ wine --version
wine-1.5.4)

I can open word, excel and such including office. However, after going through
the initial setup of office I get a message that "The connection to Microsoft
Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this
action." 

On the initial setup outlook could not verify my settings. I copied the
connection setup from a working outlook of the same version.
