Rosanne, thanks for testing. I knew about Flash able to work with Firefox under
Wine, what I was wondering about if it ever worked with Wine's iexplore.exe.
Looks like I hadn't been clear on this aspect when been posting my previous
comment.

As for workaround, probably you meant one from bug #29077 as bug #17273 doesn't
contain workarounds and rather have some Wine patches attached to it.
Nevertheless, thanks once again for testing this one and it's nice that as a
result we've got one less abandoned bug to deal with.
