x11-libs/libxcb-1.8.1 was built with the following:
USE="(multilib) -doc (-selinux) -static-libs"

I tried the patch from 31 as well as 35, but unfortunately, they seem to have
no effect in my case.  Will do some more testing later/earlier today...
