Is there a special reason for this? Normally on Wndows you don't need to do
that too.

I have temporary fixed the both issues above and the crash still appears. Also
I have asked a user to test this on Windows and the game never crashed for him.
I don't even remember to have seen a bug report on any time about this on the
official Guild Wars 2 forum.
