After working around bug 34275 and bug 29448, doing 'winetricks d3dx9_36',
*and*
using native quartz, disabling gstreamer, and swinging a chicken over my head,
the game starts here. I don't have a reproducible recipe for running the game;
maybe winetricks is doing something silly.
