I believe the problem still exists.

Once Office 2010 is installed, the key does take 4-5 seconds to confirm, the
applications themselves periodically appear to pause, running top shows it is
using 90+ % cpu.

I have a sensible machine, i5 4GB ram, that handled outlook 2010 in windows
fine.

Not sure I can help further other than to say the problem still exists.

PS: I have set riched20 to native in winetricks
