I've just attached output made adding this parameter. Indeed, I do use also
native DLL. They are bundled with the game (including d3dx9_28.dll).

Sorry to insist, but isn't Blood Bowl *not* tagged as linux game in steam ?
I tried to add my own game to my (Linux) Steam account, but steam didn't
allowed me so (steam seems to need a .desktop file).

Another difference I see between our installation is that I use an AMD video
card (not a NVidia one).

Well, I believe I am reaching my limits here… :-/
I installed game from scratch, but if I understand well this is not an option
on your side (steam does not gives installation files).

As game runs on my computer feel free to ask for any further test I may do.
