With wine 1.5.23 and the 2013-02-12 beta of Don't Starve I recieve:

Unhandled exception 0x80000003 in thread 9 at address 0x46c637 (thread 0009),
"starting debugger..."

I'll attach my backtrace because I don't know what is and is not relevant
information.
