The latest patch for Dark Horizon is 1.0.7.0, and this patch already contains
verdana.ttf, and the font is placed in the game directory when patching the
game. Of course, without the installed verdana.ttf the game still fails to
start.

I think if anyone could try the game in real Windows without the verdana font
family installed, he/she would face the same problem when starting the game. If
that's true, this bug report should be closed as invalid.
