Unfortunately the regression showed I was wrong about the working version. 
That must have been the version that fixed another bug (Excel crashing on
text-to-columns).  I'm not sure what I used to install.  I'll try a few other
releases from 1.4.1 and see if I can get it to install at all - anyone have any
suggestions about a version that might let me install Office 2007?
