Thanks Austin, Steam insists that they do not support Linux and the Civ 5
people say that this is a Steam issue and they do not provide support for
Steam. Hopefully you can understand why I am very frustrated that you have
decided to chuck this problem in with bug 311113. That means that the problems
I am facing will not ever be resolved, or even addressed by anyone. From all
appearances, even the crashing issue remains unresolved after more than a year.
