console output when tested with a clean wine 1.5.30

There you go.
I fired the game up, the little sound thingy promptly went to spam me with
crash dialogs while I navigate the menus to start a new game, so you'll
probably see a lot of sound errors cluttering it up.

The graphical bug persists. No change since my original screenshots were
posted.
I waited until I got control of the character and exited the game through it's
own menus, in case that matters.
